Week 3 Day 6

I did a horrible job drinking water today. I don't know if I just wasn't thirsty all day or what but I didn't drink anything until late in the day. I just didn't think about it.
This evening when Eli got home from work we went for a bike ride in Bristol Village. I rode approx. 4.5 miles. I felt good when we were done.

Week 3 Day 5

Today was Mother's Day. I must be honest, I took the day off from exercising. I feel like I was constantly on the go Sunday though. I had some pepsi with lunch but then drank water the rest of the day.

Week 3 Day 4

The day started early. So I started with Wii fit before anyone else was up and moving. The rest of the day went pretty slow though, I got a headache. We did end up doing some geo caching and I spent some time with a friend.

I did great drinking water all day. I did have a little pepsi in the evening.

Week 3 Day 3

Today was a busy day. I started out the day doing some Step Aerobics. I had to head out to the grocery to do some shopping for the Mother's Day event at the church. I was in a hurry so I think I am counting the pushing 2 40 lb. kids I a shopping cart at a fast speed as exercise. I was on my feet moving all day.

I did such a bad job at eating and drinking today. I was so wrapped up in what I was doing that I just forgot to eat or drink. I did only drink one non water beverage for the day though.

Week 3 Day 2

I am a little behind on blogging. I couldn't get signed into my account, they were doing some maintenance I think. And then I just got super busy with everything going on.

I did the Wii fit today and did step aerobics, boxing, running, cycling.

I did really good drinking water today. It's not so bad when it's Ice Cold.

Week 3 Day 1

There is nothing like getting past that first 15 minutes of exercising. I did another 2 minute run today. I was very excited, I didn't have a hard time till I got to the end of the run. I did a variety of biking, running, step aerobics and boxing.
I am not hating water anymore. It does have to be ice cold but it's not so bad. I must admit though that it's hard to not just drink what I want when I want it. After having Ellie home all day because she was "sick" I thought about 5 that I would love to have a glass of wine. But then I thought oh wait that's my one non water drink then. I really enjoy my pepsi in the evenings with my tv. But you know the past couple nights it hasn't been nearly as good. I don't know if I just have a bad 2 liter or what but it's not as good. This could be a good thing though.

Week 2 Day 7

The day started out well. Walking and step aerobics were not too bad today. During the afternoon I crashed with a horrible headache. I did really well drinking water all day. I did have a little Pepsi while watching NCIS: Los Angeles.
I have another $25 dollars that someone gave me that I need to add to my donations. That puts $5 away from $200. I only have $55 more to make my monetary goal.

Week 2 Day 6

Today started out with a raging headache. It was really bad, I couldn't function. At one point Lilly took a blue marker and painted both of her feet tops and bottoms. I had no idea until much later when I was moving again. I tried to get my body moving. My head would just not allow it. Every time I moved it just started pulsing and I thought I was going to throw up. It didn't ease up until about 6PM. At that point in the day it was time to hurry up and do everything I didn't get done during the day because of the headache. I feel guilty for not exercise like I should have but I am not sure it was physically possible for me to.

There have been days during the past couple weeks where I have had a headache and I pushed through it and exercised anyway but this was different.

I did really good drinking water all day. I had a little Pepsi while I watched my shows.

Week 2 Day 5

I know I am a tad behind in my posts. We got home late on Sunday and then getting everyone to bed and such I just had to go to bed myself.
I did get my exercise in but it wasn't nearly as tough or vigorous as before. I think the bike ride on Saturday really did my knee in for the day. I had such a hard time bending it. It hurt when I would go to sit down or go up and down stairs. So I took it a little easy on my knee.

Because I took it easy on my knee I chose to only drink water today.

Week 2 Day 4

Shew what at day it has been. This afternoon we loaded up the bikes a took a bike ride in Bristol Village. Oh man, I can tell it's been a while. My legs are hurting. My knee is really hurting tonight. Not sure what I have done to it.

I did really good drinking water today. I had a Pepsi with dinner.

My head is still hurting so I think it's off to bed soon.

Week 2 Day 3

Motivation is one thing that I lacked today. My knee is hurting and I am extremely tired.

My knee started hurting the day we went to Swap Days and walked for hours. I am not sure what I have done to it. I keep hoping that as the days pass and the more I exercise that my knee will stop hurting.

I started off the day exercising before everyone was out the door and on their way. I started out with some step aerobics and then did another 2 minute run. I had a whole gang cheering me on and letting me know how close I was to being finished. It was kind of nice.

So after that I went back to some step aerobics and then another 2 minute run. To finish out my workout today I did some boxing.

I have not had a non water beverage today. It's 10:04 and man a little pepsi would taste good. I think I might just have a little. But then it's time to hit the hay, tomorrow's yard sale day. There are so many yard sales going on this weekend.

We have decided for exercise tomorrow we are going to ride bikes.

Week 2 Day 2

I am so sorry I didn't blog last night. I had a headache and just couldn't do it.

I started out the morning with 30 minutes of Step Aerobics, 2 minutes of running, and some boxing. I also went for a 30 minute walk.

Running was hard! I know some of you say really 2 minutes of running is hard but really it was. I had to scream at myself to get to the end of 2 minutes.

I didn't drink as much water as I have been drinking. I got busy doing stuff and just didn't think about it. I did however only have one non water beverage yesterday.

I received another donation yesterday. So no I am only $80 away from my goal. Thank you so much for the support and encouragement.

Week 2 Day 1

Today has been a great day! I can't believe this is week 2. Besides being tired I am starting to feel pretty good. This morning I did 30 minutes of Step Aerobics and 30 minutes of Just Dance. My calves are so sore.

Last night I made some Strawberry Infused water to drink today. It was so good that I refilled the pitcher again for tomorrow.

I was able to get away this evening and go shopping with a friend. I saved my one non water beverage for our time together. We drove through Casa del Taco and got a coke. We had so much fun trying on clothes and talking. We were looking for dresses for this upcoming wedding season. Instead I came home with a pair of jeans that actually fit, a shirt and a light dressy sweater type jacket to wear over things. And I got it all for $10 less that the original price of the jeans. I guess another shopping trip will have to be planned.

I had such a good time tonight. It's been a while since I have done something like that.

Now off to bed so I have some energy for tomorrow.

Week 1 Day 7

I woke up this morning feeling so tired and blah! I really wanted to take some midol and crawl back in bed but instead I decided to exercise. I knew from the day before I needed to do it before the kids got home from school.

So I did 30 minutes of Step Aerobics and then 30 minutes of dancing. I had a friend loan me several Just Dance games. I used the very first Just Dance today and really enjoyed it.
I am so sore today. But I suppose that means that the exercise is doing me some good.

I drank water all day and had some Pepsi this evening while winding down after women's group.

Week 1 Day 6 updated

Today has been a very slow day. You know you have those days at least once a month. I have done so well drinking water today but now I am sitting here awaiting my pepsi. I think I am going to wait and drink it with Hawaii 5-0 tonight.

For some odd reason I decided it was better to wait till later in the day to exercise, hoping I would feel better. Waiting until after I got the kids from school was a MISTAKE. Ugh, it was so aggravating trying to exercise with three kids fighting and running in circles around you. I did have a moment that I felt so supported by one of them. I was doing some step aerobics and Lilly was sitting behind me screaming "Go Mommy, Go Mommy..."
My body is hurting today so I must be making some kind of difference. I know all scales are different and my goal is not weight loss. But if I loose a few or 50 through all this I won't complain. Anyways, the Wii fit tells me that I have lost a pound since I was at the dr. last. Which was the 23rd, 7 days ago.

**** Okay so I didn't wait until Hawaii 5-0 to drink my Pepsi. I decided to enjoy it a little early because I am so tired I was afraid I would fall asleep. And let's be honest I have looked forward to this Pepsi all day. It tasted so good! I enjoyed every drop. It took me about an hour to finish it, I took my time.

Week 1 Day 5

Today started out with exercising followed by quickly getting me and three kids ready for church.

Church was really great this morning. Mike had a really great message to share. We had a meeting at 1:30 today so we grabbed some Pizza for lunch with some great friends. By habit I got a Pepsi to drink. I didn't even think about it till I already started putting it in my cup. I am allowed one non water beverage a day so this wasn't a issue. I had just planned on saving my beverage for later in the day. Oh well, the Pepsi with pizza was good.

I am doing so much better with drinking water. Those of you that know me well know that I love my Pepsi. So it's not easy to reduce to one a day but I am not feeling like I am being tortured or anything. It's a treat I look forward to everyday.

Week 1 Day 4

Today started out with a trip to Chillicothe and on the way home we stopped at the Dogwood Festival. The five of us shared a Lemonade Shake up. So I am guessing I drank maybe 4 oz. of lemonade. It tasted so good and I am glad we all shared it. Water is tasting better and better everyday, as long as it's ice cold.

We walked around the Dogwood Festival for probably 30 minutes. I know that it wasn't vigorous walking but I was moving and exercising. While we were out and about today I got a Broadway Musical Dance Wii game. We tried it out before I headed to the RVCC Ladies in house retreat.
While I was at the church a friend gave me The Black Eyed Peas Experience for the Wii. When I got home and I could get Silas pried away from Skylanders I tried it out. Oh dear, can't play that around the kids, it was fun though. After we danced to that we put in the Just Dance Disney and I danced with the kids. I had fun dancing with them.

At the RVCC Ladies in house retreat today a friend gave me a donation for the Tread on Trafficking. This donation puts me almost 1/2 way to my dollar amount goal.

Week 1 Day 3

After I got the kids off to school I started my day out with an hour of Just Dance 2. I am realizing that I am not a good dancer at all but it sure is fun. It's also fun to have the girls, Isabella and Lilly, trying to dance along with me.

I realized sitting down to watch TV last night that I really craved having a Pepsi while I sat down to relax and watch my shows. So today I saved my 1 non water beverage for tonight's RVCC Ladies in house retreat. I enjoyed a little coke while we participated in a webinar.

Tonight I received a lot of encouragement about what I was doing. I feel so encouraged and supported.

Week 1 Day 2

I believe I am going to go to Book club tonight so tonight's post is going to be a tad early.

I woke up this morning to another donation on my page. What a wonderful surprise. It was from a great friend that I have made through Chrysalis. She is so bubbly, fun and full of love. The love of Jesus just shines through everything she does. I am so thankful for her.

Well I got a tad discouraged today when I got out my wii fit board and couldn't get it to work. Yes, I changed the batteries. Still nothing, it would blink but it wouldn't stay on. I am sure Eli will come home touch the button and presto it will be fine. So this morning I thought what in the heck am I going to do and then I remember that one of Eli's co-workers had sent home a Just Dance with him so I could try it out.

So this morning I danced a total of 60 minutes. I was so tired and my arms were hurting when I was done so I must have done some good right?? The plus to this is that it was fun too.

So far today I have already had my one non water beverage. This afternoon I was so cold and I could not get warmed up. So after layering on clothes, socks and a blanket I gave in and had a cup of coffee. I really didn't want to drink it, although it did taste good. But I couldn't figure out what else I could drink that would warm me up. And as I sit here and type this I remember my friend Anne telling me that if you drink warm water it will fill your belly and you won't be hungry. Hmmm, maybe I should have done that. Oh well, now I know for next time.

So in the past two day I believe I have drank more water than I have in the past three months. It's not that bad as long as it's super cold.

I feel good today. I feel encouraged. Now I should finish dinner and feed the kids so I can go to book club.

Week 1 Day 1

I drank more water today than I have in months. I am proud of myself. Today I used the wii fit to get some exercising in. I really enjoy doing the step aerobics on the wii fit. I also like to do the boxing. I will have to remember that when my arms are hurting and I am trying to figure out what I did.
I have 2 sponsors. Having someone sponsor me makes me feel so good. It makes me feel like someone believes I can do this.

I am going to try my best to blog an update every night. Thanks for reading and supporting me.

Help Me Shine a Light on Slavery

First of all, thank you for visiting my page. This is my first year participating in Tread on Trafficking. I am excited to help raise money for Love146 by getting myself moving.
My goals are not huge. I know that I need to get up and get moving and what a better motivation than to help to raise money for Love146 at the same time.

So my goals are simply to:

1. To get up and excercise for 1 hour everyday. Whether it be inside doing excersises with DVD's or the Wii fit or out walking, biking, swimming, ect... All I need to do is simply be active for 1 hour.

2. My second goal isn't an active goal but it's something that I know I need to do, drink more water. So I am commiting to only have one beverage a day that isn't water. So if I get up in the morning and immediatly drink a Pepsi that's it I am done for the day and the rest of the day will be water.

Like I said my goals are not huge. I would love to put a number of lbs I would like to loose but I am not going that route. It simply about getting active. I am going to be blogging everyday as accountability to those who may read it.

So please feel free to ask me how I am doing and encourage me. I need all the encouragement I can get. If you would like to join me in doing this I can create a team and we can work together.
